Beginnings…

Skies Collide began in 2012 after Britt & Liam’s previous band decided to part ways. It was their goal to create music that represented their broad range of influences and to play music they were truly passionate about. Later that year, they welcomed Ryan Oxford (drums), Josh Vickers (guitar) & Lewis Graham (bass) to the team. Soon after, Skies Collide recorded and released their debut EP ‘Tomorrow’s Too Far’, which was launched on August 21st, supporting Cartel & Lydia at The Zoo.

Throughout 2014, Skies Collide wrote and recorded their self titled EP whilst playing and running countless local all ages shows. The end of 2014 & early 2015 was spent recording 3 music videos for; Walls, Hollow Heart & Your Facade. In February 2015, Skies Collide released the first single & music video ‘Walls’ which earned them a lot of local attention and helped land them a support slot with Emarosa. In May 2015, they released the music video for ‘Hollow Heart’ and went on to support Chunk No Captain Chunk in August. On the 9th of September, Skies Collide released their self-titled EP and embarked on an east-coast Australian tour hitting Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne.
